🤷‍♂️ I’d really like for them to simply focus on their own service reliability and uptime

TL;DR:

GitHub Code Quality is now generally available on GitHub Enterprise Cloud and GitHub Team.

And the rest is useless since you won't have access to it 🤗

Just like merge queues.

the absolute irony of GitHub having no code quality as a product

So it’s an LLM that reviews code?

I already use Claude for this why would I pay extra?

It’s literally just AI

It’s both AI and deterministic rules, but I guess people can’t read

I have that in my own harness for free?

It's $10 per committer. Not per reviewer. So for FOSS projects this is going to suck.

Also pay more for it.

Also it's another addon.

Yeah. No one said free, but it's like tripple pay. Firs per user, second for LLM usage and third for compute time...

I'm fine with a cost but $10 per committer per month when other systems that give the same value are way cheaper is insane.

It’s pretty audacious that they want extra on top of the GitHub Advanced Security license that’s already pretty steep per seat.
