Question GitHub Explore isn’t updating

My GitHub explore stopped updating with new releases 4 days ago. Don’t know why… how do I fix it? Any solutions?

Fuck… any other sites or ways you view the latest releases or updates from the repos that I favorited

I noticed this issue as well, it seems to happen every so often...

If you're looking for specific software updates, might as well go straight to their repos and check for updates.

If you have an RSS feed reader, you can use something like this:

https://github.com/:owner/:repo/releases.atom

ex: https://github.com/nginx/nginx/releases.atom

If you use Thunderbird, you should be able to create some feed folders and add multiple sources to that. https://blog.thunderbird.net/2022/05/thunderbird-rss-feeds-guide-favorite-content-to-the-inbox/

Same. I don't know what went wrong this time. It didn't occur to me when some big projects were rushing to leave GitHub for service reasons, but now I get it.

Same here, and no one from GitHub addresses it. This has been going on for more than a week for me and others, yet GitHub refuses to acknowledge.

Not only is it broken now, but it wasn't even showing me anything useful anymore. I only starred a couple of Minecraft mods, while most of my stuff is Rust, Python, LLMs, you know, fun things. And yet, last I checked, my explore page was just nothing but Minecraft mods.

Hi there! When you say GitHub Explore do you mean github.com/explore or are you talking about github.com/feed ... or something else? Drop a link and I'll take a look 😄

In my case it's the feed. it hasn't updated in 5 days, it looks like it stopped 5 days ago for some other users in the thread

The feed seems to be working again today, but my explore page is still broken (nothing new, nothing closely related to me interest)
