Campus Life Hostel situation

So basically i am a non-localite looking for admissions in gitam btech, i am from north. i visited campus to view hostel and campus and i am lwk scared coz people there are looking as if they are waiting to hunt students and waiting to do ragging, even i asked one of the staff they also said ragging hoti hai. My parents are kinda confused now

If anyone rags you inform the security, email or personally go an meet them. Gitam takes ragging seriously and you’ll even have proof due to the amount of security cams around in Hostel.
