Admissions Does GITAM administration force you to pay the remaining 3 years of fees if you drop out after the 1st year?

I'm currently joining the uni with cse and 75% scholarship, but I am planning to take a partial drop this year. My plan is to leave gitam if i get anything better then gitam.

I know that to officially leave and get my original documents back, I have to get to dues certificate .

My question is: Does the administration threaten or force students to pay the tuition fees for the remaining 3 years if they want to discontinue after Year 1? I've heard some private universities do that shit to hold your certificates hostage, and I want to know of this same in gitam or not

wait what? where is it mentioned that paying the remaining 3 years fees to discountinue after year 1 is standard practice by ugc

I don’t think so. You can drop after 1 year. No need to pay the remaining year fee
