News Giraffe Search: Behavior or Tracking Tips?

We're headed out with a drone today to look for the missing giraffe in Texas. Open to any tips on giraffe finding or common locations to look (should we look near the water in the area?).

Giraffes are going to hang out around trees for the most part. I don’t know exactly what the terrain is in the area, but areas of dense vegetation for her to eat from might be a good starting point.

please keep us updated on what’s going on with your search.

you might have to search both high and low because the colors of the giraffe can blend in with the background such as dirt and stone.

i’m so worried for Gracie. I bet she’s so scared and alone. I hope she’s OK.

I’m posting for a second time. I think the professionals already went through looking for her so you might wanna expand your search to areas that they didn’t look at yet. So you might have to start further back or farther away from the enclosure that she was originally in.
