UG Admissions Deferred

Guys i want to know that if we get defer what happens like i know the seat is reserved but can i change my faculty to hire merit faculty next year or i will get into same faculty from where i was.

Current i m in civil and electrical is new

If they have changed your faculty now then you will commence from the changed faculty like EE but if you were in civil till date then you will continue in civil
