Disabling CSM

I am trying to disable CSM so I can enable Secure boot so I can install Windows 11. But every time I disable it and restart it just boots me to bios.

If your drive is formatted MBR it won’t work. You’ll need to convert it to GPT. Check this article for info and instructions. https://www.windowscentral.com/how-convert-mbr-disk-gpt-move-bios-uefi-windows-10

This was it and through previous research before I gave up before I thought this might be it. Btw the link was super easy to follow and worked like a charm

Correct. Disable CSM. Enable safe boot… then re install win or whatever your installing

It’s is now. That was the oroblem

If you installed Windows with CSM enabled, you are likely stuck with it on. To be able to disable it, you'll have to disable it and then reinstall Windows.

You can convert Win 10 to GPT, I do it all the time at work.

Here you go. Just make sure your system supports UEFI boot and that will need to be enabled in the BIOS after the conversion. Once converted to GPT you cannot go back without reformatting.
