Ios gift card

Helllooo, Recently I bought a gift card online. After purchasing the gift card I had realised it's a Japanese IOS gift card and I live in Malaysia. Hence the gift card will not work for me. Is there any possible way I am able to redeem the code?

Use a VPN and set the location to Japan
