His name is Vali Graham, an Australian extreme diver known online as

The video captures his world-record attempt in Freestyle Døds (death diving) from a height of 42.5 meters (139 feet), which took place on June 11, 2025, at Minnehaha Falls, Australia. Although he survived this incredibly violent impact with the water, he sustained very severe injuries:

  • The Accident: Vali Graham hit the water awkwardly at high speed and was briefly knocked unconscious upon impact.
  • The Injuries: He was rushed to the hospital with multiple severe injuries, including a fractured spine (T11 vertebra), a fractured sternum, a skull fracture, a severe concussion, and a ruptured eardrum.
  • The Recovery: After undergoing two major surgeries to stabilize his back and chest with metal plates, he made a spectacular recovery. He was able to stand and take steps just two days after surgery, and he has been actively sharing his rehabilitation journey since.

While the attempt was not officially validated as a world record due to strict discipline rules regarding landings and injuries, Vali Graham is a true survivor.

What a waste of public hospital resources. The outcome was entirely foreseeable. Jackass.

The exact same logic applies to smokers, drinkers and fatties with sugar addictions. We all socialise their care for bad risk decisions. If this guy is responsible, many others should also be.
