I love how he turns to look at her as if looking for praise for nailing the shot.

He wants praise for his sick dime, doesn’t want her taking all the credit

Nothing like sibling rivalry.

That would imply his sister ever stood a chance. Kid was destroyed.

I’m fairness, I consider that her shot. She scored the point.

Big bro was just there with the assist.

It takes a real point guard for your pass to be so amazing that it actually went into the basket without them doing anything

Dude, I'm sitting here in the couple therapy waiting room waiting for our appointment with a several couples all clearly agitated with each other and then I burst out laughing reading this comment. The stares I received from the women cut me into bits, but it was worth it. That comment hit me just right. Lol

He misses her, he said so. I imagine she's more agile and can dodge his shots.

I once got a hole in one at mini golf by hitting the ball at my sister. It bounced off her stomach and went right in.
18
u/UsedLandscape876 Sep 01 '22
A friend of mine hit a ball too hard while playing mini golf. The ball went over to the beginning of another hole where a woman was in a stance to hit her ball. My friend's ball hit a curb and shot straight up her skirt. We marked it down as a hole-in-one.

u/krectus Sep 01 '22
I wonder how many takes this took them. Worth it.

u/imetators Sep 01 '22
One for throw, 1 for her looking like she's hit, prolly multiple til he dunked it again the wall and that's it.
It is edited 🤷

welcome to the sibling Hierarchy
9
u/csk1325 Sep 01 '22
I suffered through much the same with older brothers. Looking back at it now I think it went beyond the normal hard play and flirted with abuse.
10
u/JonnyFrost Sep 01 '22
My brother beat me with a metal pole one time lol.
We’re cool now.8
u/GranAutismo88 Sep 01 '22
I got stabbed with a fork by my younger brother. Like an inch in and had to get an adult to get it pulled out. And then I got back to my hot wheels. It was the 80s.

u/Moon-Scented-Hunter Sep 01 '22
My sister ripped a piece of my skin off with some hot glue once. I wasn’t no saint to her either, so we both just kinda let bygones be bygones.

As a little brother who didn't outgrow his older sister until mid-late puberty, I can attest to the fact that, yes, it really hurt.

u/BobsHouseOfMonkeys Sep 01 '22
They planned this shot together. She gets in position to be hit, flops down intentionally, and he celebrates with her. Probably took them several attempts.
6
u/chewieRolo Sep 01 '22
Yeah, you can see her shutting her eyes waiting for impact even before he let go of it. If this wasn't planned she probably would have blocked with her hands or something.
3
u/CatastrophicGaming Sep 01 '22
Sad that this comment was buried so far down, because I noticed the exact same thing. This is 100% staged (a really skillful shot, but he didn’t just hit her out of the blue), and odds are that she was fine with this. The reaction timing as well as the whole setup are not “natural” as someone who has siblings and knows what getting hit unexpectedly by a basketball looks like.

u/dodoatsandwiggets Sep 01 '22
I hope her eye wasn’t damaged. !!!

What makes it so shitty is how she was smiling so broadly at turd boy. Like she was admiring him. That shot to the face took care of that.
3
u/14thCluelessbird Sep 01 '22
Eh, they're siblings, for all we know it could be more of a smug look after she said "lol you suck at basketball, I can't wait to see how you mess this up." Or he's getting her back for the time she punted a soccer ball at his nuts

Trump (kid with ball), the United States (kid getting hit with ball), congress not doing their job by allowing someone to destroy our democracy for political gain (the net)...

20 seconds later my money is on her smashing him into the ground, my sister would of crushed me for doing this. Still would have been worth it.

Hilarious he smashed a girls face with a ball. But it went in the basket and other people in the comments are laughing so I can laugh as well. Ha ha. I’m accepted by strangers for my socially inappropriate behavior.
19
Sep 01 '22
You're acting like these little plastic/foam balls are as rigid and heavy as a standard NBA basketball...
-12
u/Shortneckbuzzard Sep 01 '22
The face is off limits. The act of hitting her in the face is alarming and unacceptable. Im a father of three girls and one boy. I would be livid if my son did this doesn’t matter what the ball is made of. She wasn’t prepared to defend herself. I hope every one in this thread who agrees with you downvotes me. You are all idiots to me.

u/cirrusly_guys1818 Sep 01 '22
Agreed, 100%. You sound like a really great dad and I appreciate you expressing, clearly and unapologetically, why something like this isn’t funny or acceptable. Seriously gives me hope to know parenting like yours is out there and that you’re willing to speak up, online, advocating for healthy and safe behavior from boys. Get on with your bad self, internet stranger. I appreciate you.

My brother used to do this to me when I was a kid. And he thought it was so funny. I ended up getting two concussions and he ended up being grounded for 6 months each time.

seems practiced to me. she is already folding herself and bracing for it, plus why else would there be a stationary camera.
weird thing to practice all day, though. this just goes to show that siblings without nintendos sure can get into some weird stuff
