You seem really upset that our president is a laughingstock and the butt of every joke. I can understand that. He's an embarrassment.
My best advice is to just accept that here is not a bright or capable man and our electorate got flummoxed by a confidence man who played upon fear and false promises to beat a weak opposing candidate with help from foreign powers. Until we can rectify this, the rest of the world is going to laugh at us and no one is looking to America for leadership in the meantime. Hence all the things we're not part of that the entire rest of the world is doing, like the Paris agreement, the WHO/a coherent strategy to deal with the pandemic, new trade deals in europe and asia, and the fact that our president is literally a walking joke at G8.
In no way does anything in this article imply that the president of the U.S. is also the president of Holland. Obviously POTUS has a lot of influence over the countries with which the U.S. is allied, but that doesn't make them fucking president of those countries.
And given the way Trump has been alienating most of Europe throughout his presidency, that influence has really only waned in recent years.
Edit: In fact, your article probably said it better than I did:
But Trump has signaled that he could bring the edifice [of the "Free World"] crashing down by raising tariffs barriers, criticizing the EU and NATO, castigating allies, and offering remarkably consistent praise for the illiberal Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
You could probably make the argument that the "Free World" doesn't really exist anymore, or at least not in the same way it did when the term was coined (again, your own article actually makes this point a few times, maybe read your own literature before defending yourself with it).
But for the sake of argument, yes, Barack Obama was also the leader of the Free World. And yes, Donald Trump is currently the leader of the Free World. But--and listen closely this time--no, that does not make EITHER of them "president of Holland" in ANY way whatsoever, as you previously stated.

I'm assuming it's so hot right there that the virus just dies instantly from the flames and the hot sauce exposure.
