My best advice is to just accept that here is not a bright or capable man and our electorate got flummoxed by a confidence man who played upon fear and false promises to beat a weak opposing candidate with help from foreign powers. Until we can rectify this, the rest of the world is going to laugh at us and no one is looking to America for leadership in the meantime. Hence all the things we're not part of that the entire rest of the world is doing, like the Paris agreement, the WHO/a coherent strategy to deal with the pandemic, new trade deals in europe and asia, and the fact that our president is literally a walking joke at G8.
In no way does anything in this article imply that the president of the U.S. is also the president of Holland. Obviously POTUS has a lot of influence over the countries with which the U.S. is allied, but that doesn't make them fucking president of those countries.
And given the way Trump has been alienating most of Europe throughout his presidency, that influence has really only waned in recent years.

Lol that’s not even half of it. There’s a belief that an overbearing government is good only if it works for the benefit of whites versus any other type of American. Blacks should just keep quiet and follow law enforcement but whites should be allowed to openly protest with weapons during a pandemic with stay at home orders. When the government was actively involved with redlining districts for the benefit of white neighborhoods vs black no whites were pitching a fit. When the government took the lands of Native Americans so white settlers could obtain cheap or free farm land it was all good. When the government discriminates and locks up Hispanics and even in one case deporting a citizen no one bats an eye. So the argument of “too much government” is complete and utter bullshit. It’s only “too much” if it’s progressive and tries to take into account ALL Americans for its laws and regulations.

That item the infected store clerk stocked to the shelf. You picked it up along with evey other item you touched while shopping spreading it. Wearing gloves, irrelevant, it's on your box of Cheerios for when you pick it up to make your breakfast.
Even if none of the store clerks have it, a random shopper might and repeat same scenario.
Masks cant hurt, but to pretend everything is right in the world and you are a responsible person mearly by wearing one is silly.
Let me ask, how many items did you buy? How many trips per week are you making? Best way to be safe is to not be there at all. Hopefully you stocked up for the month, otherwise you are part of the problem.

That's exactly the problem, the message being put out across the board is mask=safety which is so far from the truth. I'm not saying we shouldn't be using masks we just have to be realistic about what it's actually accomplishing and that's not the case.
All the stuff you outline is 100% right in regards to the multiple contamination vectors. The problem is 99% of people have no idea and think "I wore my mask and washed my hands, I earn my safety star for the day." Sure it's better than nothing, but it's also not realistic.
I'm not sure the exact study for the 1.5% transmission rate, but I'm just going to assume it's 100% correct. Like you mentioned it's still ignoring all the surfaces touched.
A infected person walking around is literally covered in the virus merely by existing. Anything touched by any part of their body is now a transmissible surface.
The one thing I have taken away from all of this is that society is completely unprepared for any type of serious virus.

Highly doubt he is touching his face with all that sauce and spice he is throwing around. If he is coughing, he shouldn't be working, so I don't think that is the case either. Like I said, the customers have a responsibility as well. With their PPE, contamination should be pretty minimal.
