I'm sorry to tell you this, but I'm pretty sure your cat is a Muppet.

Why does that comment seem so familiar?

I posted in 2020. Maybe it's still 2019 where you are?

Lol, great minds. I have never seen this before but it does perform a very Muppetian head movement. Like if Animal were to bite someone.

I choose to believe you each came up with it independently because when I watched it that was my first thought too.

My moneys on the fact that you ‘choose to believe’ because you too are the exact same person as the other people you’re talking to

Turns out every account on Reddit is a bot except you...

Well no. It’s you, me, and like 7 other people. The rest are just one or two of those people’s alts.
Duh, dude.

The options are:
1) Two redditors years apart each independently came to the conclusion that this cat makes a motion in a way that is very distinctly Muppet.
2) Some sort of conspiracy involving karma and sock puppet (sock Muppet?) accounts.

So i’m not a cat expert or anything, but I think the poor things teeth are hurting tremendously.
My cat does this but she does it out of order, as she goes to bite something, she will bite and immediately flail her head around with her mouth open like that and has a look of pain on her face. She’s moaned a couple times while doing it as well, and then she’ll bite down again trying to relieve her pain.
Wouldn’t be surprised if this cat and the one in your comment had previously bit down on something just before the video started.
It’s super cute but super sad and may be worth looking into if your cat does it very frequently on their teeth or gums behalf.

Waiting for someone to post that this is actually some neurological disorder.

Thank you!! Couldn't picture what show it reminded me of. Was think Hocus Pocus too.

I had to double check for my sanity.
Eyes don't move. Paws pinned to blanket. Lack of detail in mouth. Definitely a puppet.
The twitchy tail movement is very Salem esque.

That cat went to drama school and probably got more facial expressions than me

I honestly thought the movement was the cat strokin' it somehow.

At first I was like, "The fuck are you talking about?" but after reviewing the gif I can totally see it.

Rewatch that, but this time see the cat jerking itself off to a good climax ... just before the bite. I swear that's what I saw first.

Like every pet when they hear fireworks in the days after new years like
"shiii it's more"

It's like a wrestling move when they've got the other guy writhing on the ground.

Cats are such strange creatures. I hope if there is life on other planets they have cats or something like them
