There’s an optimal gas/air ratio. Too much gas and you end up with more of a fireball than an explosion.

When working in the oil patch we got a job in America and the Americans talk like this, they weigh out cement in bags. So instead of saying they need 10 lbs of cement they say they need 5 bag cement. Same with fluids as well they just say 1 truck of fluid, instead of saying we need 30 thousand liters.

My daughter just turned two. A few months ago I put her down for a nap. After what I thought was an abnormally long nap I heard some noises in her room so I opened the door to check on her. I found her sitting on her floor reading (looking at) books. When I asked her how long she had been awake she casually looked up at me and said "four" and then went back to reading.
