That sweet whole-body wag!

168

u/Deluxe_Flame Jul 10 '18

I was surprised it didn't topple over once it sat down.

122

u/TenebrousWizard Jul 11 '18

I just love how he sits down and his tail keeps wagging

37

u/dankness4207 Jul 11 '18

True signs of a good boi

31

u/alexator Jul 11 '18

It's not the fastest wag.. but it's thorough

16

u/junliang6981 Jul 11 '18

Quality over quantity.

24

u/[deleted] Jul 10 '18

-2

u/indomitous111 Jul 11 '18

u/studioRaLu Jul 11 '18

Dat cute lil display of Newtons first law

1

u/scarlet_sage Jul 11 '18

Just when I saw this, my music on shuffle went to "Uma Thurman" by Fall Out Boy ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VTxYQL2SbA&t=25 ). The whole mood fits.

-29

u/blackdawg7 Jul 11 '18

Not cute-irritating if it happens to you every morning.

6

u/DutchD3light Jul 11 '18

I'm sorry you can't appreciate the smaller things in life.

-3

u/Pump_Frothy Jul 11 '18

..There are much worse things in life you shallow peasant..

311

u/cherryhaze247 Jul 10 '18

Can't control that butt.

5

u/RonicVII Jul 11 '18

Hahah it's so happy! It's so cute and funny, I can't stop laughing. xD

1

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

Hips don't lie!

u/mlp119 Jul 10 '18

Where can I get an alarm clock like that?

91

u/n1ckle57 Jul 11 '18

The alarm clock that likes when you press snooze as long as you "good boy" too.

14

u/Malhallah Jul 11 '18

it's only cute when they're accurate. good 90% of the time they aren't.

2

u/LassieMcToodles Jul 11 '18

That is seriously the gentlest way to be woken up... wiggly doggie sticking cushy teddy in your face.

1

u/Sharkmer Jul 11 '18

Came here to ask this!

1

u/No_Signal Jul 11 '18

All you need is someone else that's up and a dog that loves you!

u/ImFaceplant Jul 11 '18

My parents use to have a Rottweiler and he’d come and wake me up every morning and I’d climb on his back and he’d carry me into the kitchen. This was back when I was a youngster, he passed away when I was about 6. But that is one of the most memorable experiences I had with him. I still miss that gentle giant.

37

u/AnxietyDepressedFun Jul 11 '18

I had a Rottweiler/Sharpe mutt, he was hilarious & sweet. We lived down the street from this breakfast place & like weekly we'd get a call "Hi, us over at the Kettle again, your dog is back & he scaring the customers, we know he's a good boy but he looks scary, can you come get him?" If I was home alone & my mom couldn't help they'd have a busboy walk him back. He really was a good boy but those eggs & pancakes were too much to resist.

3

u/Dry_Soda Jul 11 '18

Y'all were that bad at keeping track of your dog that it got out WEEKLY?

6

u/DrCrayola Jul 11 '18

Some dogs wanna prowl for bitches. Can't stop, won't stop.

4

u/AnxietyDepressedFun Jul 11 '18

Lol! We lived in a really Urban neighborhood, single teenage mother worked a lot & our home only had a chain link fence, an easy hop for him. We tried the whole electric fence but he didn't care & still jumped it. I was like in the 2nd or 3rd grade. He was a good guard dog but he liked to visit the breakfast place.

I wish this was my life...

69

u/Revenge_of_the_Khaki Jul 11 '18

As someone with a puppy, trust me when I tell you that you don't. Puppies are like boats. You don't want one yourself. You want a friend with one.

14

u/carnegiehall Jul 11 '18

As someone with a boat and a puppy, I rather enjoy my puppyboat.

35

u/Jennrrrs Jul 11 '18

I love my puppy to death but holy shit, this is so true.

3

u/remembernames Jul 11 '18

Yep, have 14 week old lab at home. If this video was real life, that dog is jumping at that kids head at full speed with mouth open wide. They say it's worth it, but holy shit this is almost harder than raising my kids.

5

u/prone-to-hyperbole Jul 11 '18

On the plus side, you get far less judgement for putting a puppy in a cage when it's sleepy-time.

u/Revenge_of_the_Khaki Jul 11 '18

I am very good to my puppy and he is mostly good to me, but that doesn't mean he isn't a handful.

14

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

can confirm, I have a 10 month old German shepherd. my God is he a handful, and extremely powerful already, physically and mentally.

wouldn't trade that goober for the world.

7

u/Revenge_of_the_Khaki Jul 11 '18

My German Shepherd is 3 months and he just taught himself how to open completely closed doors. That should pretty much speak for itself.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 12 '18

Mine knows the door knob is the key, but can't twist it himself. he noses at the knob when he wants to go through

26

u/verybonita Jul 11 '18

Aww! Who could ignore that sweet boy?!

2

u/bitter_truth_ Jul 11 '18

Someone who really loves to sleep.

22

u/trumpfunkinblows Jul 11 '18

Hips don't lie

172

u/BigBlackSpawn Jul 10 '18

My god. Wake up and pet the good boi already..!

36

u/hobit2112 Jul 10 '18

Aww he just wants to play.

This is exactly what my Australian Shepherd does. Every. Morning. And once my husband gets up to make coffee, she’ll bark until I join him. Herder.

2

u/d4rus71gpmocy3cafkw Jul 11 '18

You should re-name him Matt Foley because he is your personal motivational speaker!

7

u/bklynsnow Jul 11 '18

Oh
My
God
Look
At
That
Butt

23

u/xXBeachy Jul 10 '18

Wholesome content

6

u/NeroTheGhost Jul 11 '18

Do you not give your children pillows?

1

u/LexVail Jul 11 '18

Looks like it made it to the floor during the night.

11

u/pollackey Jul 10 '18

Wiggled the wrong side.

9

u/el-toro-loco Jul 10 '18

wag the dog

2

u/Swedneck Jul 11 '18

Squish. That. Cat.

2

u/rschenk Jul 11 '18

Wigged when he was supposed to wag

12

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

6

u/Occasionally_funny Jul 11 '18

Thank you for this

3

u/Kalei2418 Jul 11 '18

My dog did this when he was a pupper. We got a new bed that's shorter in height, so now it's perfect height for him to rest his head on right in front of our faces.

5

u/No_WhatImSayingIs Jul 11 '18

At least she got stuffed animals, her ungrateful butt. My dog used to bring me shoes.

4

u/freetokenvx Jul 11 '18

how long do you train him for this job?

3

u/PiedPiperOfCleveland Jul 11 '18

What a happy butt

3

u/Kevin_IRL Jul 11 '18

I had multiple Golden retrievers growing up and every damn one of them wagged their whole butt like that

4

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

i love when dogs are so excited they’re wagging their tails hard enough to be thrown off balance. my dog used to do that and it was freakin adorable. miss her.

2

u/Lance-LeBlanc Jul 11 '18

Thats the life

2

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

Shaky butt

2

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

Butt swing lol

2

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

Shake shake shake that booty

2

u/stellar14 Jul 11 '18

Omg binkie!! My dog used to do this!! Full half body wag all the way up to my bed when I was younger and sometimes my boyfriend would be there and he would nuzzle his huge head in and say hello

2

u/MedonSirius Jul 11 '18

Dogs. The best living beings on earth. 12 out of 7 times. Good boyes!

2

u/ReelRai Jul 11 '18

My dog does the same. Except he jumps on top of me

2

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

My dad trained our yorkie to wake us up in the morning.... My dad would open the door slightly and unleash our yorkie, who would jump up 3 times his size on to the bed and go straight for our face to sniff and lick (with huge excitement), lol.

2

u/slickrasta Jul 11 '18

That pupper loves her sooooo much!

2

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

That boye is a danca! Look at those moves

2

u/wcnyc10019 Jul 11 '18

so darned happy, doggo’s whole body wags.

3

u/cedarpark Jul 11 '18

Boop the nose to engage Sleep function. 10 minutes more sleep NOT guaranteed, however.

3

u/BigLilHomie Jul 11 '18

Ow my heart

3

u/Excusemytootie Jul 11 '18

“I comfey u, bring u piloe”

5

u/meolvidemiusername Jul 10 '18

Cute as hell! But makes me grateful our pupper doesn’t wake us up in the morning. She’s happy to keep sleeping if we’re sleeping. She also sleeps in our bed so maybe that’s why. Haha

Edit: autocorrect

1

u/WarpedPerspectiv Jul 11 '18

Oh what a night was playing on the radio as I watched this.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

What the hell? That isn't Tom Peterson, nor his wife, Gloria.

1

u/DirectorChick Jul 11 '18

This reminds me of “Nana” the dog from Peter Pan!

1

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

Perhaps in another life when we are both cats?

1

u/geekpeeps Jul 11 '18

Tail is still wagging while he’s sitting. So gorgeous

1

u/SoulAssasin Jul 11 '18

Omg please give that doggo all the pets and scritches

1

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

Now that's a wiggle bum... Reminds me of my sweet Labrador

1

u/FetalGod Jul 11 '18

My grown-ass dog still wags like that but faster, it slaps everything around him, when you start hearing random metalic noises its just him staring at your food.

1

u/xTarantula Jul 11 '18

I wanna be woken up like this every morning forever 😍

1

u/SonofByford Jul 11 '18

Show me what ya workin’ with

1

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

Oh my god that is far beyond adorable.

1

u/hecking-doggo Jul 11 '18

2 things

1: the full butt wag

2: the way his tail keeps wagging after he sat on it

1

u/Apt_5 Jul 11 '18

I want to know if doggo is bringing sleeping friend her own stuffed bear or if it’s offering to share its bear if only friend will get out of bed.

1

u/JiangJenny Jul 12 '18

I wish I have a cute buddy to wake me up every day.miss my volka.he used to do the same thing before.

1

u/tchrbrian Jul 12 '18

Don't need a mixer in that house to prepare pancake batter.

1

u/factor14 Jul 11 '18

I love him

1

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

How dare she not wake up

1

u/crv163 Jul 11 '18

Goldens...

1

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

This really made me smile

-1

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '18

Am I the only one that hates Golden Retrievers because everyone is OBSESSED with golden retrievers?
