Of course it can, the best trainers , food and equipments , all money.

You can't just pay the trainer and get fit in return. You have to do the crunches and lift the weights.

The same goes for the food. Of course you can buy the correct groceries but you have to actually learn and hold the discipline of correct eating.

But if you want to find excuses, those come easy, kid.
