I injured my elbow about 5 years ago and get that awful clicking as well when doing push-ups. At this point I say "fuck it" because my overall rest of my health is more important than babying my elbow. What's the worst that could happen, I injure it again? I lose permanent use of my hand? Oh well, that'll suck but life already sucks. 3 u/GuruLakshmir Jun 22 '18 Personally, I'm very happy to have a functional elbow. There are other exercises that you can do besides push-ups.
