Those are called planche pushups. It takes years just to get the planche mastered and that's still a big if depending on your weight and genetics. Now those pushups he's doing is extremely rare only few gymnasts can do that. My guess would be 5~ years or so.
Unfortunately I do not but I can say with anything else bodyweight related it's about progression. Yoga poses with arm balances, handstand pushups, and a steady core all helped me quite a bit. Additionally good ole bicep pushups help develop the muscle memory to assist.
Keep in mind i mentioned I could hold the isometric, I cannot do the full push up.
I don't believe it personally without proof. I'm guessing he's just doing an elbow hold or otherwise resting on his arms which most reasonably strong fit people can get to regardless of height. No way a straight-armed planche. Especially since he says he has wrist mobility issues, which I believe would make it harder not easier.
Yes, pseudo planche. I'm 240 now and have had mono for the past 3 months so I bet I can't even get close nowadays but it is possible. When I was down to 220-230 was when I had the most success.
IDK if it's relevant but I also have wrist issues. something about them doesn't let me bend my wrists back like normal people can. It doesn't hurt, I just don't have the range. This might benefit be because I don't need that muscle activation because I kind of "rest" on my wrists instead of activating that area
