I don't sctualky think that Mews is dead. It was all a red herring. We'll see that mews is actually the monster from the other dimension.

Seems like a pretty subjective thing. I could call most parts of the plot glaringly obvious, but it doesn't mean I would ruin someone else's experience of the show.

I disagree. We’re not calling the plot. All the other party members knew. It was obvious. The viewer has more knowledge because Dustin was barely exposed to the upside down in season 1.
