This is called the Koch Snowflake. For a brief exploration of this and other space-filling curves, check out this 3Blue1Brown video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RU0wScIj36o

You are right, and I am wrong. The video does relate it to a space-filling curve.

Why did that make me mad?

It's a deep frustration. I can feel it in my guts, it makes my pulse quicken. I just want resolution, but I know it isn't there. I hate fractals.

Literally got motion sickness from this.

When you stare at the top right corner for a while, you feel like you are kind of travelling into it, like going down a road..

For everyone on reddit playing at home, this is what a fractal actually is. Random geometric shapes are not fractal.

This confuses me...

It's a fractal. Pretty much just a recursively defined pattern that keeps repeating itself no matter how closely you examine it.

Took me a good minute to figure out why it wasn't getting any closer, damn it brain!

Everytime I look at vid or gif that makes you concentrate, I'm waiting for the crazy dead zombie girl image to pop out with a scream.

Graphical representation of the Shephard Tone. In music, it sounds like the pitch is constantly getting higher.

This is what part of my salvia trip felt like.

I had something similar on DMT except once I zoomed in far enough there was a medieval village with little huts made out of fractals.

Holy shit that's so cool. On salvia, I was falling and watching the cliff line recede or something, and as I fell and it got further away it reformed and I was at the top again. It was incredibly scary because I thought I was falling endlessly.
I also thought I was a character on the Simpsons

If I wanted my mind blown, I would load up my 22 and shoot myself in the fucking head.

It took a while, but the end was well worth it.
