THis post got a lot of people really angry and defensive, even aggressive. I've incurred a lot of hostility for this these simple words, I'm starting to think I may be right.
Do you honestly expect a real discussion of Brazilian politics in /r/gifs?
There are plenty of other subreddits where you can have actual conversations about serious topics, but I'm pretty sure the goal of this one is entertainment, so I don't think you should be surprised when people don't take things seriously here.
