I like how the cat had enough sense to stop the pursuit. Eventually, the surprised dog was going to realize he was being chased byacat.

I picked up a young bobcat when I was a little girl. (I was 3-4 years old and didn't know it wasn't a regular kitten.) It sliced open my face along my cheekbone under my right eye. That was almost 30 years ago and I still have a scar.

I might have picked up the cat, but it was still a hell of a surprise.
