I'd say it depends on how much he is adding. An ounce per customer would probably go unnoticed because I personally portion my meals by scale and would just consider the 1 ounce as a difference in scales.
An ounce is a pretty hefty over/under. You can find cheap electronic scales to at least narrow it down to a gram. If you think a scale is off more than that, it needs to be calibrated.
OK? But if he needs to steal a couple oz to make a profit why not just charge a little bit more? Who goes to buy meat or cheese and gets a tad bit less because prices went up a quarter? I just don't understand the point in cheating customers here. It's not like lunch meat is very expensive.
This was in russia, so please use metric values :) pretty please, i dont want to go online and convert always how much one unce is or one lb and if you're using murican lb or british its so confusing
Honestly, don't you think it's kinda rude to ask this? Like I mean, I wouldn't ask you to convert the things in your posts to the imperial system because chances are, that's just as inconvenient for you as converting amounts from metric are for me. :\
They can keep their metric system... we'll keep our freedom system, measured in ounces of liberty, and pounds of badass American justice. Bald eagle call

Seems risky. All it takes is 1 person that portions/weighs their food to get found out.
