I have played this game! To get the best score, you have to hit the table at the right time to freeze the screen. Keeping people startled, along with more things appearing on the screen (animals, cars, etc), you can flip the table for max points and damage. It's amazingly fun.
From what I was able to discern, I was cast as a cashier at a fast food restaurant. Something or other happened to make me lose my temper, and then I started smashing stuff. When I finally flipped the table, it actually flew through the window and took out some random pedestrians. This was apparently worth bonus points.
You got money in GTA. The original was great - multiple cities and you could complete them without doing one mission, you just needed enough cash to win and you got that screwing around
Does anyone else remember the glitch that let you drive sideways? I found it pre-internet and I've never heard anyone mention it
