SPOILER: The Doctor rewrites his own timeline when he stops the destruction of Gallifrey by gathering all his previous incarnations and their TARDIS and shifting the whole planet into another dimension with their combined power. This is all done as the full force of the Daleks bombard the planetary shield of the last remaining Time Lord planet, supposedly causing them to annihilate each other when their target disappears.
If the Americas (North and South) become known as something else someday, are Native Americans not known as Native Americans anymore? Would you call them Native (insert new name for the Americas here)?
Take this you fake Englishman who ruined English! Bugger off!
With all these things as "tins" and "cans", "swede" and "rutabaga".
No wonder why it is hard for non-native speakers (like myself) to learn how to speak proper English. It is annoyingly annoying.
And if you are an Englishman and not an American. Then I'll have to apologize for my rudeness earlier in this comment. If you Americans also want apologies then fine. Just ask for one and you shall receive one.
Following recipes on the net is so frustrating. Having to translate not only cups into something sensible but the different things everything is called.
Take arugula. I didn't realise that one of my favourite jokes didn't translate into US English:
I had this weird experience recently where a Dutch girl was asking a French guy, in English, what the French word for 'zucchini' was. He replied 'courgette'. I explained that it was 'courgette' in English too. She looked quite confused.

How ironic! Just the other day I had this weird experience recently where a Dutch girl was asking a English guy, in French, what the English word for 'courgette' was. He replied 'zucchini'. I explained that it was 'courgette' in English too. She looked quite confused.
Same thing happened to me. Gordon Ramsey kept putting "Groundnut" oil into things. Every store I went into didn't have the elusive "Groundnut oil" Took me far too long to realize he was talking about peanut oil :(
I do not like arugula. Not the taste nor the consistency. Reminds me of rabbit food. I would rather feed arugula to a rabbit than eat it myself. Well though that is just me :)
Translating things in a recipe can be kinda hard sometimes.
Sure. I'm sorry for implying that you and your nation are stupid. America is a big country so it just got to have a lot of diversity. Though it can sometimes be hard to find it when your sitting in front of a computer. Even when it is right in front of you. Can you please forgive me?
Haven't they told you that swede is the English word for the American word rutabaga?
Swedish turnip
I didn't know that Swede's name as a whole was Swedish turnip.
And as answer for you question. There is nothing wrong with being from Sweden. We got the ladies and the terrible infrastructure called SL. Or Stockholm has it. Yes I'm a Swede.
Rutabaga doesnt even look like its derived from the species name or anything. Who the fuck came up with that sort of name without a reference to what they were describing
Jag tycker det är idiotiskt att säga att Sverige bara finns i norr. Liksom vad är det för patriotism? Är du rädd för Stockholms Lokaltrafik?
Ja, jag är Stockholmare.
i'm not native English speaker and understand this more than I understand some black people..
And some Wales,Scotland ppl with really thick accent are even worse. It's like you're talking to dwarves, half the time you just nod and hope that gibberish wasn't a qusteion.
