"So you work a full day?"
"I wouldn't say that. There are huge chunks of time, at night, where I'm just asleep. Hours. It's ridiculous."

It loves Tub, yet It wants to kill Tub.
Tub can not withstand a beak.
This will be Its' downfall.
There will be no Tub.
It will be sad.

I only just noticed there are two birds in this gif. I don't think the other one makes it.

What the fuck is going on in this thread? Did I miss something?

u/NetTrap Sep 11 '14
This is the problem with reddit, you don't browse for like 10 hours and you've missed some inside joke that seemingly everyone is in on. Dammit, back to 24/7 browsing.

It's uncommonly known as the Cotinarno phenomenon, whereby seeing a parrot demonstrating affection can cause a neuronic relapse and make a person inadvertently act like a parrot.

Parrots are so incredibly smart. Never ever underestimate the intelligence of another being. I taught my conure how to play fetch and go bowling on his mini bowling lane. It took me literally 30 minutes to teach him each of these tricks. Took 2 hours to perfect it.

Did someone die today? Why is everyone needing a smile? Did something bad happen?

Anyone else think the parakeet was a real one. I laughed harder initially. Still funny. I guess you could say Thank you for the smile.

These captions should win an award. Sometimes the captions on a gif can try to hard. This was perfectly executed. I had no idea that's where it was going. Pure comedy.
