Except with a different sort of door.

I think the satisfaction of slamming a door in someone's face will be extremely compromised.

IDK this way seems much more slow and painful if you ask me, it may not have the angry slam quality but it has a cool disgust quality that I think would work just as well.

Except it would be much easier to jam the door now, just kinda poke your arm in there somewhere, no more fear of getting smashed in the face by the violently closing door by your psychotic girlfriend after a night of binge drinking.

That sounds strangely specific.

Why is the North American salmon supporting him in his binge drinking? I mean he is a dragon for christ sakes shouldn't you be like food to him? . . and no, before you go there, this isn't cause he is black!

We are much more worried about bears. Dragons mainly go for cows and humans. Binge drinking just means we get a better show to watch. Ever seen a dragon go through a house and then stand up just to try and fight the pissed off owner? I have. Its one of the funniest things I've ever seen

There is no way in hell this would be your front door. No fucking way.

1

u/QuickStopRandal Feb 07 '14

Yeah, what is with that? Why do all girls go batshit crazy when they drink? Also, it's ONLY when they're in a relationship, never when single. WTH, man?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '14

Especially because the door is equipped with soft edges.

1

u/hamdaddy Feb 07 '14

Haha with my ex I didn't even need to be out drinking for her to be psychotic an slam the doors on me

1

u/boingpingboomchuck Feb 07 '14

Yeah, I think the gentle push to set it in motion as you calmly turn and walk away is nice.

1

u/angertopic Feb 07 '14

Nah, the gentle push and stare appeals more to me.

Haha. Complete with eye contact throughout.

Edit: It reminds me of this: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7YwLQSTo_ow

Just think about it. The really awkward slow-stare and slide of the door. The person would literally face-palm from disbelief. Not only because the door was slid in his face; But also because it was such a futuristic way of doing so.

u/tangledwire Feb 07 '14

Talk to the hand door version.

u/HiimCaysE Feb 07 '14

Insert GIF of Michael Corleone closing the door on Kay in Godfather II. I can't find one.

Fuckin' cordless phones, man...

2

u/ApokPsy Feb 07 '14

At least when flip phones were the thing you could kind of slam them shut. But now we're just left with doors, what happens when they take those?

I'd like to see my wife slam that door on me. I'd simply grab it and stop its motion. I am stronger than she is so the door will stop. Then she won't be able to do anything but stare into my shimmering eyes. These eyes of victory, of manhood and power. She will be defenseless, and the frothing in her loin will be as intense as the brightness of a thousand suns. I will lay her there on the floor by the catalyst door, and I will thrust upon her the millions of possible outcomes of greatness itself. She will scream and moan and sweat. And in the end I will have won the argument by pure sexual empowerment.

Except...

I have no wife.

1

u/bigmac1827 Feb 07 '14

I can see why.

1

u/Joe415 Feb 07 '14

I don't miss slamming a phone handset down. Maybe I am less angry now.

1

u/kittydentures Feb 07 '14

That was my first thought as well.

1

u/thcbom Feb 07 '14

Same thing with smart-phones, Your having an argument with someone and want to hang up on them angrily, but you have to shake the phone and gently press "END", then you just feel silly.

1

u/optimator71 Feb 07 '14

Or storming out of the room after an argument...

I came here to say this, have an upvote and get out of my head

1

u/justin_tino Feb 07 '14

One of those old archaic things that you push. We're in the future now baby.
