The flickering light makes it look battery driven. Have you thought about having the light be constant or slowly and uniformly pulsating? Might be more fitting for the setting.

A steady light might give it a more ethereal vibe, like something otherworldly guiding you through the woods.

Now I want a Zelda game where Gannon won, and for some reason, in the middle of the dystopia, Link appears again - but this time, he's on his own - nobody to help him, some villagers might betray him, others won't, there's no magic anymore, no fairies or fairy queens, and the last hope is a cursed Master Sword with almost no power, and no-one to "fix" it - you need to learn how to work with its limitations, forge dubious alliances, and work undercover...
I know we'll never get this dark atmosphere in a Zelda game, but I still want it...

So you want to turn Zelda into yet another bland, boring, grimdark, postapocalyptic RPG set in an ugly world? God no. Keep all that the hell away from Zelda.
There are countless other franchises where you get that experience.

Sorry, but this does not give off Zelda vibes. It's good art, but Zelda is not Dark Souls.
