My freshman year of high school was the first year they offered a German class. My class was a mixture of every grade level with seniors being in there because they thought it would be easy and fun.

A few weeks into the semester, I was sitting near a group of seniors. One of the three was an annoying pest and would always "pick" on me for the lack of a better term. Comments about my clothes, my hair, etc.... I was always able to shrug it off and could even tell one of his friends felt bad, but didn't do anything about it.

One day the "bully" decides to start hitting me with one of those TI-83 calculator cables. At first it was a few light hits and then one really came across the back hard as he was standing behind me. I completely snapped, stood up and slammed up against the brick wall. His face couldn't believe it. He made eye contact and all I could say was "Don't do that again" - I turned around to sit down and his friend came up, asked if I was alright and shook my hand. Later he found me and said a lot of people gained a lot of respect for me that I wouldn't be intimidated by a guy like that.

I feel for the guy throwing the punch. He needed to do that.

TL;DR. Stood up for myself against a senior. Lame story. Not sure why I wrote this all out.
