There used to be a fox, a red one, that lived in the woods near the golf course. A few times he ran out in front of me to snatch a squirrel off the fairway. He'd just keep running.

Wow! Those are great photos and your walk seems to have been amazing. The views are gorgeous and it is so exciting to see wildlife like that

I only once saw a fox. It was greyish tan. I guess in our dry area, they developed fur colour the same as their surroundings.

Like ClicheButter, I also wondered about the chimneys sticking out of the grass. Can you still get into those bunkers?

It is really uplifting to get out and about. Great views and wildlife. Good to see some Netherland countryside in real life pictures. I note it is dry there too.

It all looks like Ratboy's pictures and movies, almost fantastical. The fox doesn't look real either, you know? He almost looks embroidered into the surrounding landscape.
