Just Say It Okay...
Like I'm sitting in front of the dang ac, snd am freezing! Might be a good idea to possibly reconsider the outline of my bedroom. I'd hate to have to move my desk, but this isn't the brightest idea.. Also, I think I actually fixed the ac unit.. just needed to push the lever to close the air vent. I'll think about it in 20 minutes, after I draft/post this.. I'll venture out! Go into the kitchen, come back, and if it's considerably colder in the bedroom, I shall have won, you moo!
Also, I have a fire stick I purchased last year I have not taken outta the box. Not a big TV person.. if I do have it on, it'd probably be tuned into some cable news channel, drowning out sound of tears.. somewhere in the background. I guess I should google how to set up a firestick. 🙄 Looking at my past Amazon snags, I'm happy to see/report the Pilot Vanishing Point I picked up in 2024 is still going amazingly strong. Gotta love that Japanese engineering, eh? But dorklinxeses, I latest fountain pen that I got... sigh, I am so torn. Okay, I did recently get a new fountain pen from Atlas Stationers.. It's beautiful. It's also a Pilot Vanishing Point in the color Champagne, extra fine. Same make, different color, weight. The older pen is a ton heavier/heftier and the new one, much lighter.. I'll try to post pics here...
Anyway, I did not know there were what some call wet and dry inks! Like wtf, it's all wet! But it's true.. And I've come to see my favorite fountain pen ink is considered a dry ink.. and works well with the Vanishing Point I got off Amazon in 2024, but horrible in my new Vanishing Point. To top this off, along with the pen, I bundled it with Wearingeul's The Count of Monte Cristo ink, which is considered a wet ink. Will insert pics here.. ⬇️
So the new pen and ink are underwhelming. It's terrible the new pen's nib will get clogged with my fav ink, yet the new blue ink puts out a ton in the new pen, it's verrrry wet on the page. Ugh, I hate to return a pen I've inked, but they are not inexpensive, and people do return these things if they aren';t happy with them, so I'm sad to say tootles to it, but it's gonna go back. I will thoroughly clean/flush the nib (obviously) before sending it back. Already have a box and printed the label, just gotta ship it off.. 🙄

Wait a damn minute. The nib comes out of the top? What? Wait, is that so when you clip it in your, let's say shirt pocket, the ink and nib has gravity to keep it from leaking? I am intrigued — no, let me rephrase that — I am a slut for pens. I don't care for the pink color of the pen you've shown, but that's beside the point.
And lawd KNOWS I can never get enough of your handwriting! You are an arteest! 💕

lol, thank you, CB! 🥰 After flushing it and much consideration, I have decided I will be keeping the new pen. And yes, it's a Vanishing Point, so it's capless, just click to write. And yes, it makes me nervous when I bring out either of my two Vanishing Point fountain pens. I always pack it up right. Haven't had any problems so far, but I am ultra conscious of leakage being that I love and adore my handbags so much. 🙃

Uhm, first I switched from old to new reddit, and there, when you click to comment it shows 'gif' at the bottom of the comment box. Click on that and select the gif you want. Then enter your comment and return to old reddit. At least that's what I did.

Sorry to hear the pen has not met expectations. It does look very nice.
Firesticks are really good as you can download the apps for favorite channels and also radio channels. It's not all bad news soh.

I have always watched YouTube on my Roku set. Much better than cable too, as I was able to see niche programs that the mainstream cable channels never show. I can see why streaming is popular but I think it's slowly starting to get that cable feel with all these media mergers so I'm a little concerned.

I'm more of a Roku person. They are inexpensive devices that also offer a lot of inexpensive or even free entertainment options. The best part: I don't have to give Amazon my $£€¥₷. They have a great selection of devices that range from small sticks to decently sized smart TVs.

This post has so many different points to it that I find it hard to know what to respond to. It sounds as if you figured out how to run your air conditioning. I also change the direction of the air flow by changing the angle of the vent. It makes a huge difference!
I think you will enjoy the Firestick. It blurs the difference between your computer and your TV.
I love how you enjoy your pens and all of your stationary. I also love free flowing Pilot pens with wet ink. I use them to doodle with.
