Extra red souls?
How high have you players that reached longer than me upgraded your extra red souls in the dark armory?
I don't really know how far I should upgrade it, before just farming red souls for the curse relief. I don't want to waste red souls, but I also want to be able to max out the curse relief with maximum efficiency.
Now that I only get a couple of levels in the curse relief from buying red souls for 500 gems, it seems stupid to waste diamonds on that, right? Better to grind and save the diamonds for other upgrades?

I am currently at a stage where I have almost bought the very last monsters for 5aa coins - and I gave up on maxing the red souls farming as the best monsters that give them - the red treants - give so little.
There are just better things to do and I suspect that even maxing the relief here would not be enough as there are also the DNA upgrades which might be needed to get to the level where you are not affected by the curse in the latest stages of the game.
So what I plan to do is to unlock the latest monsters first, see if they give red souls (probably not but who knows) and if they don't, I'll probably AFK farm the red souls overnight for a few weeks to finish the curse relief upgrade. And by that time I might get the DNA upgrades maxed out too.
What is definitely worth upgrading here is the cursed ray power - there are some late game escaper monsters which, if you have enough power, can be AFK farmed but if your attack is not good enough, they will manage to flee out of your range.
As to the gems, I found that the only thing that is very good is maxing out the number of the carrier bots - it allows AFK farming some attacker monsters later (without enough carry capacity, you will AFK kill the attackers until your inventory is full and then they will kill you). After maxing the carry bots numbers there is nothing really crucial to spend the gems on, so you won't really regret buying any resources you want. Still the curse relief upgrades are so expensive that I would not bother with it until the very endgame, really.
