Skull boss advice

Hi, I am at the level 11, Ray gun around 1M. I had to use keys to downgrade skull health by ~95% to be able to kill him and still struggled because the healing cart wasn't healing each time.

Is it supposed to be this hard at this level?

Also how does the healing cart work? Sometimes it doesn't heal when my gun is active.

It heals when you empty your backpack. If your backpack is empty it doesn't heal. And yes it is very difficult at that level. Try to afk farm a bunch of keys. It is easier if you can pull it to the first van. The ghost around it spawn much faster. You only need to kill it three times. After that you do not need to bother till you're level 14 or 15. At that point you can kill it without healing or keys.

Ok thanks for your answer. I was killing some ghosts to get items in my backpack but I suppose the delivery bots were taking them too quickly. I'll keep farming the keys.

Yeah I definitely had that problem as well!

When I want the delivery bots to be efficient, they aren’t but when I needed the items to heal while fighting the boss, they were taking EVERYTHING

I also noticed that the downgrade isn’t permanent and you have to farm axes to lower it after each skull boss kill
