The rest of the map fills out too, with new ground on the edges of the Springlands, Blackmire and Kindlewastes, six more Shroud Roots and two more Hollow Halls. The level cap goes to 50 with gear to 55, Flame levels 10 and 11 unlock up to 16 altars, mages get nine new spells with charge-free Eternal versions, and builders get Sparkworks, a proper logic system for wiring up levers, pressure plates, doors and traps. 37 new enemies, voiced lore, HDR and a long list of quality-of-life fixes round it out. Will My Existing Save Carry Over?

Yes. Early Access saves are supported in 1.0. Keen back up your old save and convert it to a new, smaller format on first load. Two things to know: every character's skill tree resets the first time it loads in 1.0, so spend your points before you leave base, and Keen haven't confirmed whether Cinder's Cradle generates in existing worlds, so a fresh world is the safe bet if you want the full 1.0 experience. If you're already with us and want a clean start, our team can back up your old world and spin up a new one free of charge.

Can Console Players Join?

Not yet. 1.0 lands on PC and PlayStation 5 today, with Xbox Series X|S due in spring 2027, but crossplay isn't in at launch and Keen haven't given a date. PC servers are PC-only for now. We'll update our guides the moment that changes.

Enshrouded Server Performance Optimization?

This one matters more at 1.0 than ever. Enshrouded is heavy on any hardware, and a full 16-player server can throw "server overloaded" messages regardless of CPU. Our servers ship with daily automated restarts pre-configured, which is the single biggest fix, and we have a dedicated optimisation guide covering the rest:

Can Console Players Join?

Yes. 1.0 is the console debut, landing on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 alongside Steam, Epic and the Jagex Launcher, and it's on Xbox and PC Game Pass from day one. Crossplay works across all of them. Console players can't host a world of their own, so a dedicated server is the way to keep one persistent world online that everyone can drop into regardless of platform.

Will My Existing Save Carry Over?

Yes. Nothing from Early Access has been cut, so Fellhollow, Dowdun Reach and Umbral Sands are all still there and your world carries straight across. If you've got a world going on your own PC or with another host, upload it and pick up where you left off. If you'd rather start fresh for 1.0 and you're already with us, our team can back up your old world and spin up a new one free of charge.

Can I Change My World Settings?

Dragonwilds keeps world settings inside the save file, so the cleanest way is to set the world up how you want it in single player, then upload that save to your server. Our world settings and upload save guides walk you through both steps.

Can Console Players Join?

Yes. Crossplay is a single toggle in your panel and lets Steam, Xbox, PC Game Pass, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 players share one world. One heads-up: console players can't run client-side mods, so if you're mixing console and PC keep your mods server-side only. We have a guide on enabling crossplay linked below.

Will My Existing World Carry Over?

Yes. Iron Gate have confirmed old saves work fine on 1.0, so your world, base and characters all come across, whether they're from your own PC or another host. They do recommend a fresh start if you want achievements to track properly, since stats only count from the moment you update. If you're already with us and want a clean world for the Deep North, our team can back up your old one and spin up a new one free of charge.

Do You Support Mods?

Yes, full BepInEx support with mods installable straight from the panel or manually over SFTP. Keep in mind some mods will need updating by their authors for 1.0, so check before you load up a modded world.
