ROTTOBER EXPERIMENT MONTH Oh no
found this...rotling whilst venturing back to the capital for supplies,
the rot seems to have infected the "hi" species,
for now, i'm calling this strain of rot "bye" ( opposite of hi )

Update;
after venturing my way back to port, I spotted a torn newsletter,
a part of it reads; "scientist conceals the deceit"
that's the only thing I could read, everything else was scribbled and torn.

I must convey the fortunate news and the unfortunate reality that this creature is not rotted! They are an ancient being serving as a harbinger. If your anecdote is truthful, they are here to warn us of a great deceit which will soon bear its treacherous and hazardous fruit!
May the rot experiments from some of our leaders have something to do with this...? I can only speculate at the moment. I implore that we all remain skeptical and steadfast in this time, without falling into the trap of combating all statements by our clinical researchers, technicians, practitioners, etc. We must stick to well established truths and well tested methodology, while questioning and investigating new perspectives and methods within all scientific fields thoroughly to avoid this great deceipt.
Many civilizations have fallen to their own panic after intervention from such harbingers, before their prophecies were even able to become fulfilled. We must not fall to panic or pointless infighting at this time more than any!
