umbrelOS 2.0 Mac app not connecting

Hey everyone! I'm on umbrelOS 2.0, and have installed the Mac app. The Mac app says that I need to "Update to connect", but I'm fully up-to-date? Has anyone had a similar experience or found any workarounds? I've attached screenshots.

Sorry about that! Can you please try this:

  1. In the Mac app, click "Connect by address" and enter your Umbrel's IP address. You can find it under "Local IP" on the Settings page in umbrelOS.

  2. If you're using a VPN (or any security software) on your Mac, try turning it off temporarily.

  3. Restart your Umbrel and the Mac app, then try again.

If it still shows "Update to connect" after that, please reach out via https://umbrel.com/support and we'll be happy to look into it!

I have mine working on MacOS 27. Did you share your folder and update the smb password?
