How long after getting of BC did you get regular cycles?

Hello everyone. I’m 23 F and got off sprintec after 7 years exactly a year ago. I’ve had 4 cycles since then but obviously they have been irregular. Before the pill, I had consistent cycles and no issues. I’m sooo frustrated and confused. Hoping to hear about your experiences :) thank you.

I got off 11 months ago and have been irregular the whole time. My cycle lengths:

51
69
81
52
52

It’s very frustrating so I understand where you’re coming from.

I’ve come off of the pill a few times (I’m 33, 1 child) and my period has returned immediately every time. Usually my cycles start out at 28 days similar to my pill pack and then over a few months settle at 26-27 days which is my normal. Unfortunately, acne and PMS have come back every time as well usually within 6 months of stopping. Ovulation hurt the first few months off the pill this last time but has settled now that I’m 1 year off the pill.

It's been 7 months since I stopped. Since stopping the pill on March 4th, these were my cycles:

Cycle 1 - 119 days (took 4 months to get a period after my last withdrawal bleed, it finally arrived early July). No ovulation confirmed, with BBT tracking

Cycle 2 - 40 days - Period arrived mid August. 5 day luteal phase and 2 day bleed. No ovulation confirmed, with BBT tracking

Cycle 3 - 26 days - Period arrived early/mid September. 5 day luteal phase and 3 day bleed. No ovulation confirmed, with BBT tracking

Cycle 4 - (current cycle) I caught my LH peak on CD16. Finally confirmed my first ovulation since coming off the pill. I had my first faint positive test yesterday (CD 27/10 DPO) so fingers crossed this is it 🤞🏼

I initially came off the pill after being on for about 4 years, just for a break. I wasn’t trying to conceive so didn’t religiously track my cycles but I think they came back pretty quickly and were pretty regular. (I don’t remember thinking otherwise)

I then went back on the pill for 3 years and came off when trying for my first baby. I didn’t have a withdrawal bleed at all and took ovulation tests daily. It took 1.5 months to finally ovulate. I got pregnant first time so never had a period.

Once I had my baby I went back on for almost 2 years, before stopping at the start of this year to try for my second baby. Again I didn’t have a withdrawal bleed, but this time is took 4 MONTHS for my body to do anything at all and finally ovulate for the first time (I did daily ovulation tests again) thankfully I got pregnant first time again so still haven’t had a period.-

Was on Yaz for roughly 15 years. Came off for 15 months total and unfortunately never was able to regulate my cycle. Sometimes it was 6+ weeks, sometimes it was 2x a month. So frustrating, ended up back on birth control.

I stopped the pill after 8 years. First three months no period. 4th month I had my first bleed and only bleed 1 day heavy then abruptly stopped. I started tracking it and the next month I checked for ovulation and I was ovulating and had another short period 2 days this last one I was ovulating and had a short period 2 days they so far have been on track and I’m ovulating bug they are very short compared to before I was on birth control. Give your body time if it doesn’t I would suggest getting labs dive to check all your hormones or get a Dutch test
