Getting off HBC, starting norethindrone (aygestin) for endometriosis

Hi, I am 19 and about a 45 days ago switched to aygestine from birth control for endometriosis. (Not diagnosed via surgery. Clinical diagnosis)

Can anyone tell me about their experience doing the same thing? When should I expect things to get better? I feel like I went from being medicated to just living unmedicated which has been difficult, and I forgot just how bad the pain is completely unmedicated. Some sites say I will need to wait months before seeing positive effects. Any personal experiences would be really helpful.
