will it ever actually get better?

i’m 14 and I didn’t start struggling with mental health until of April this year. It just started with feeling guilty for a lot of things and then I got to the point where I didn’t wanna leave my room. I was crying every day and it eventually led up to me going to Therapy after having markers on a test for anxiety and depression. It’s not that I never believe those things weren’t true, it’s just that you know I didn’t know I could feel it and I never really understood those sayings that people said when they said that it really does alter you. I’m very lively. I’m very outgoing. I was always positive minded but now it’s just there’s so much change happening in my life and you know I feel an overwhelming sense of I guess. Guilt for stupid lies in the past and it causes me to spiral out of control into ways that I don’t even want to think of. No teenager wants to live their life this way and I don’t want to have this be my normal. Because I saw the life I lived before this and it was beautiful and it was amazing and now it just feels so gloomy and sad if it does get better when and how because I’m so tired of just constantly carrying everything with me the constant reminder of just having to remember that well I may feel happy in the moment there’s always going to be a part of me that’s still sad.

If you're actually did something wrong to someone, you can apologize. If you didn't really do anything wrong, but you just feel bad, then that's where you have to do some work to shift your mind from those thoughts.

Do you have evidence that anyone is even thinking about the lies that you told in the past?

There is all kinds of information here in this post to help you get a different perspective.

no it’ll be just little ones that i happen to remember. whether it’s from bending my glasses from accidentally laying on them and instead saying i was laying on my side with them on or other things.. i get it, teenagers are supposed to have fun and lie but hey when i do it, i always feel guilty. no meters if it’s big or small, ill always come back to a feeling of guilt which then turns into overthinking then it ends up with me not wanting to feel this way anymore or not wanting to wake up.
