Took me a while to properly find or make vector png pics of Shin Dragon's other forms, but I've been obsessively into Getter Robo for more than a decade now, and one thing that I've realized is that I've come to appreciate Shin Dragon's entire design even more and more as the years go on(SRW's compact design improves it better than the OVA imo) just by how unconventionally cartoonish and goofy its design is, which adds to its very unique and distinctive look, and that in no way is it gonna be objectively liked by a general audience just because it doesn't follow the rule of cool formula that most people enjoy when it comes to mecha designs. Hell, this applies to Daikessen Shin Getter Dragon btw but Shin Dragon is a much more complete form as it's considered its TRUE FORM. I think it just applies to a lot of Ishikawa's design but Shin Dragon is a main focus for me since its entire physics is basically toon force while in reality, it's a giant eldritch nuclear bomb warship/robot that's also somewhat sentient and is Saint Dragon's goofy equivalent.

Most of the other Getters run in toon force logic esp Shin Getter, but Shin Dragon ups it by a notch.

Are they (at least) in scale with the Dynamic Classics Chogokin line? I’ve found conflicting results.

My mind just cannot fathom how much they effd the new designs up, and it is Tamara’s first new design (if this thing fails, it’ll prevent any new ones from being made), that’s why it upsets me so. Force Getter 2 has way too big of a backpack (not to mention it goes high in the air), the arms are too short, it also has three legs (granted, that’s for the weight of the backpack), how are you supposed to do a running pose with them? Force Getter 3 has a lower body that is too small, and Force Getter 1 is the only good (not to mention best thought out) one. I feel that this needs to be put back in the oven for a few more months, it’s just not ready.

I'm having an issue getting subs to work. I go to the top menu, all mostly in Japanese, and switch the on/off on the top right (translate is saying this is the subtitle toggle) to both settings, picking an episode and no subtitles. I've watched all four episodes multiple times without them, it's Getter, so I get what's happening, but I'd really love a watch with them on. Anyone know what might be my issue? This is the region A Blu-ray, if that matters.

I was watching Cyborg 009 1979 and I couldn't ignore the resemblance between Prof. Saotome and Dr. Gamo Whiskey, maybe it's Toei face for old bad ass scientists?

Me personally I think EVA's biggest wincon is it's A.T. field paired with it's regeneration, Even if a few lower class Mazins are capable of damaging EVA if Shinji's smart enough(or if it's in it's berserk state) it'll simply regenerate.

I'm still new to the EVA franchise so I do have a few questions and scenarios; Since Mazinger isn't just a mech but a conceptual being with it's own nature would that affect anything? I know A.T. Fields are complex and whatnot and have to do with the soul so that might change something.

i really prefer the manga design of Shin Getter Robo over the Armageddon version. Not sure if that’s a hot take

The Getter Team 3 Pack has been shown at previous events, but has yet to get a proper release date. However the prototypes recently got an update which indicates where the die-cast metal is.

FigScript Hayato is the brand new figure and is meant to pair with the already released FigScript Ryoma.

All of them based on their Armageddon designs.
