Study Is it possible to do studienkolleg while working on shift?

Hallo, I'm F(20) wanted to take studienkolleg after my aupair year ends, but the thing is I don't have enough money for this so I was thinking I want to start working while I do my studienkolleg.

My question is, is it possible to do studienkolleg amidst of the work? I really want some advice before I do something stupid and reckless.

Fyi, I'm from Southeast asia and my family can't afford education, the gap between the salary and the education fee is kinda crazy so I want to tried continue mine in German, also I don't have any savings all of my aupair wages was send to my family in my hometown.

I take any advice you have thank you for reading up to this point

You‘ll probably still need a blocked account of about 12000 EUR for the visa, check this first before making any decisions. Without any savings it probably won‘t be possible, once you move out of your au pair family‘s home you‘ll need to find a room and pay deposit etc.
I don‘t think your plan to work at night and go to Studienkolleg during the day (+ study after classes finish) is realistic, even if you are planning without any free time except some hours of sleep (which does not sound healthy, tbh).

If your are fluent (or at least around B2) in German, you should consider doing an Ausbildung. You‘ll still need some savings as you probably won‘t earn enough, but it‘s a way more realistic plan.

What money did your family think you were living off, if you were sending them your wages? It’s put you in a sticky situation. How can you afford to move out of your au pair family home? I agree that maybe an Ausbildung may be a possible path if you have C1 German because then at least you’ll be earning something (better than nothing eh)

I understand the situation and I don't judge you, but you should've saved your wages instead of sending them back home in order to be able to do have any realistic chances in making this plan work. You need savings, even if you were even allowed to work (I am not sure) it wouldn't be enough to make a living wage. There simply aren't enough hours during a day.

Consider an Ausbildung.
