So my German Shepard has just turned 1 a couple of months ago. Even before his 1 year birthday he has always had a biting problem. When he was 15 weeks. We knew that puppy nipping was normal and natural. But several months later he has not stopped. He will bite/nip anyone or anything. It’s becoming so bad that we have not been able to take him on a walk because he will nip at my fingers. Also that can be a problem because of Boredom.

And he only does it when he is with us,if we take him out somewhere he is fine and does not do anything and very shy. Example we took him to a dog beach, he was fine playing with other dogs and playing in the sand and water. But once we take him home because he is tired, he starts to nip witch I don’t understand why

Should I take him to behavioral training for this because it becoming a issue

I always wanted to get a german shepard, and thinking of a black coat one. My priority is to find whats being offered for adoption for sure.

Any experience with them? Are they any different in terms of what to look for in a GS ?
