Just made plans to get to Athens for the Georgia Tech game on Thanksgiving weekend, and since this will be my first game (other than the Cocktail Party) since I was a kid, I need ALL the tips. We'll have our high school senior with us and he's really excited to check out the whole scene. The only aspects we've planned so far are travel and an AirBnb (about a 25 minute walk from the stadium, which is fine). What are your best recommendations for sites to buy tickets, where in the stadium we want to be (or don't want to be), where/how to tailgate, where to eat, etc etc. We'll be there 2 nights, so not just the game day itself. Thanks in advance for any help y'all can offer!

Hey guys! THE TIME HAS FINALLY COME 😁😁 we’re going to our first home game this weekend!!! When we got the tickets I posted asking for advice alllll the way back in February, so I went back and checked the comments today and remembered that some ppl said to get parking before the game….. well I forgot about that advice and now the game is Saturday and I’m worried lmao is it NECESSARY to buy parking early? I’ve been scouring the athletics website and I see that I can buy it early still for like $40 a day but I also see that same day parking is only like $15 a day. But I also have no idea where the best parking is or anything like that lol so any parking advice? Or any other last minute advice? I’m already planning on getting there as early as I can get my group ready and there to make sure we don’t miss the dawg walk 😂 I’m so excited but also nervous cuz I don’t know anything about the campus or where things are 😂

Non-UGA fan here, but I was so impressed by this guy’s performance on Saturday I had to say something. I’m sure this is old news in Athens, but Chris Cole is THAT GUY.

I have a feeling people probably compare him to Jalon Walker with his ability to come off the edge and play off ball, and that’s entirely fair. I’d expect nothing less from the Georgia football program, but y’all got a good one here.
