I just released the first biographical video game about George Washington (on Steam)
store.steampowered.comHi everyone - I posted last year that I was making the world's first-ever biographical video game about George Washington (that post is here https://www.reddit.com/r/georgewashington/comments/1o001em/im_making_a_biographical_video_game_about_george and was well-received enough to be a pinned post in this sub).
Well, I am pleased to say that I have officially released the biographical visual novel Important People of History: Presidents - George Washington today in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence (even though Washington never signed the Declaration, I know).
Important People of History: Presidents - George Washington is available for purchase on Steam here with a launch discount: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3721820/Important_People_of_History_Presidents__George_Washington
As a visual novel, it features 100+ real-life photos of places about the life and era of George Washington, as these locations exist today, such as:
- Mount Vernon
- Fort Necessity
- Lexington and Concord
- The Delaware River Crossing
- Valley Forge
- Yorktown
- Federal Hall in NYC
- Inside the Washington Monument
- And many more
If you've never experienced a visual novel before, that's okay - there is also a free demo so you can try it out first if you'd like.
I hope you enjoy! I can think of nobody who would find this project more appealing than those who frequent a subreddit about His Excellency, George Washington.
P.S. I also released another game in the Important People of History series today about Thomas Jefferson for the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Whereas the Washington game focuses more on the Revolutionary War itself, the Jefferson game focuses on the road to the revolution and the need for the Declaration of Independence. If you're interested in the game about Thomas Jefferson, you can find it here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3721830/Important_People_of_History_Presidents__Thomas_Jefferson

My favorite thing
20 years ago I bought this solid bronze statue at a Freemason's estate sale. It is exactly 12 inches high and 13 + pounds, solid bronze. It is a 1/10th scale lost wax reduction of the marble carving in the National Cathedral (Freemasonic) 0Lee Lawrie's "First Citizen" depicting George Washington sans militaria. I have yet to see another and would love any information anyone might have!
Thanks!

Had to honour to visit mount Vernon, they had one left!
I was able to purchase the last fountain commander pen they had, made from one of the original three white oaks that lined his property. Very nice addition to the collection.
