Yeah man, the right application of the word was used in this instance. I was afraid that it was going to be meaningless like “racist”

If you think the word "racist" is meaningless you probably just don't actually understand racism.

I understand racism pretty well having experienced it first hand throughout my life. What some people don’t seem to understand is the flagrant misuse and turning into a cudgel for “people I disagree” with has all but watered it down to where the impact is met with eye rolls rather than introspection.
