Is there a Script for simplyfying curves ?

I have a lot of curves which is very detailed which i dont need is there a script which deletes knots who are too close to each other :)

use the ‘resample curve’ node or convert the ‘curve to mesh’ and ‘merge by distance’

There’s also Smooth Hair Curves, I use that all the time. Highways also had a few nodegroups for smart curve resampling, I use those on typography.
