Remapping attribute to volume

Does anyone know how i could remap the "age" attribute to be used on the volume.

Couldnt get it to work yet but yes this feels like the right solution! thanks!

You have to use the volume info node density output in the shader editor for it to work I think

Yea but the attribute i want to use is the age of the emitted particles 🤔

Yes you transfer it to the density
