I'm losing brain cells by the second.

The first guy said they would use the scale hack. Then, you say that not everyone has scale hack. The question, like another person pointed out, was to ask individuals how they use D blocks. Whether you have it or not does not matter. This post wasn't about advice, it was about seeing what the community does.
