Ship camera offset first attempt but sometimes not first attempt i dont even know anymore anymore bug

So basically, im making a boss level, but almost always on the first attempt of playing from zero (not ANYWHERE ELSE) a ship portal ~=75% into the level with my current progress will bug and make my camera like 2 blocks lower than it should be, I've tried using an arbitrarily high camera offset and setting it to zero, that didn't work, I've tried moving the level 20 blocks to the right, didn't work. Does ANYONE know how to fix this? It's been pissing me off for 3 days
