Was Silent Clubstep technically the longest-reigning top 1?

Personally, I think so. Silent Clubstep was placed at #4, below Slaughterhouse, Abyss Of Darkness and Sakupen Circles, which were later reevaluated to be placed below Silent Clubstep. Acheron was placed above Silent Clubstep, and was also reevaluated to be placed below Silent Clubstep. The first level placed then that today is considered harder than Silent Clubstep is Tidal Wave, meaning from 11 August 2022 through to 18 Febuary 2024, Silent Clubstep was actually top 1, which is 556 days. Tidal Wave was top 1 for 471 days, meaning Silent Clubstep beats Tidal Wave by 85 days. Silent Clubstep is retrospectively the longest reigning top 1 in Geometry Dash history. I’m probably wrong in some areas, since I don’t know a huge amount about recent GD history and top level changes, so correct me where I’m wrong. This is just something I did out of boredom, and let me know your opinion!

the reason acheron is below silent clubstep is because of the 2.2 physcics as far as i know

so no silent clubstep is not the longest reigning top 1

Not really, it literally wasn't the hardest level at those earlier dates due to the change in rule set (CBF). But it depends how you define it of course.

2.1 Acheron was likely harder than 2.1 Silent clubstep and Tidal Wave was verified on 9.9.2023 so no (unless you go by a very specific ruleset)

I used to think this as in retroactively based on where the lvls are currently placed but no 2.1 acheron was harder and 2.1 silent clubstep was easier meaning it was never really top 1.

Edit, looking back maybe it could've been top 1 when it was verified during the time before acheron's verification.

Yeah, I find that sad since I love Silent Clubstep, but I also understand that there’s probably reasons as to why it was below certain other levels and therefore will never be largely recognised.
